Sun claims four Florida Press Association awards

ANNA MARIA ISLAND – Congratulations to Sun reporter Leslie Lake, Sun cartoonist Steve Borggren and Sun columnist Rusty Chinnis for their Florida Press Association Weekly Newspaper Contest awards. 

Leslie took first place in the In-Depth Reporting (Non-Investigative) category (Division B) for the series of articles she wrote about the Pines Trailer Park in 2025. Here are a few of those stories:
