Playoffs ready to begin

Which one will be the team to beat? The playoffs begin for the adult basketball league and the 6-7-year-old youth soccer league this week. In the basketball league, Unique Mobile Detailing seems to be the favorite going into the playoffs and has a first round bye with Southern Greens. In the 6-7-year-old league, it is anyone's guess. Air & Energy, Beach Bums, Coastal Orthopedics and Tyler's Ice Cream all have a really great chance to be capture the coveted championship.

In the 8-9-year-old league, the team to beat will be Gettel Toyota, which remains the only unbeaten team in the regular season so far. In the 10-11-year-old league, LaPensee Plumbing seems to be the favorite, but Jen Crady Massage has been playing really good soccer lately. In the 12-14-year-old league, Autoway Ford and Wash Construction have been neck and neck and should prove to make for an interesting regular season matchup this week for first place in the division.

In these last few weeks of the regular season, three soccer division championships are still up for grabs. The exciting conclusion of the soccer season will cap off with the tournament playoffs and championship games on Saturday, Nov. 19. The championship game for the adult basketball league will be on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Who will be the team to beat and be this year's AMICC champions? Only time will tell.

Matt Plummer scored three goals, and Stephen Perry added two goals and Korey Rogers added one goal for the Sato Real Estate win. Justin Noyes scored the only goal for Euphemia Haye.

Aaron Duduks scored three goals, and Richie Rodal and Sean Sanders each scored one goal for the Jessie's Island Store win. Scott Eason scored the only goal for Beach to Bay Construction.

Damir Glavan scored three goals, and Anthony Alfano and Ryan Moss each added two goals for the West Coast Air Conditioning win. Tyler Krauss scored three goals, and Kelsey Bachman, PJ Smargisso and Darrin Wash each scored a goal for Wash Family Construction.

Don Meilner & Son Construction – 4
Eric Howe scored three goals, and Christine Rice scored one goal for Ross Built construction. Chris Kazanas, Jeff Christianson, Nate Talucci, and Kim Terhern each scored one goal for the Don Meilner & Son Construction team.
