The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to Anna Maria Island.
Bradenton Beach has accepted an offer from Gold Coast Eagle Distributing for the Clydesdales to visit on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 5-7 p.m.
Making what is believed to be their first-ever appearance on the Island, the Budweiser mascots will walk from Cortez Beach (just south of Bridge Street) down Bridge Street and to the roundabout near the Historic Bridge Street Pier.
“Our distributorship is winning another award this year so they’re giving us the Clydesdales for three days. We’re having them at our party and then on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch, the Island and downtown Sarasota,” said Erik Marker, on-premise team leader for Gold Coast Eagle’s Manatee County operations.
Marker and on-premise service director Brad McIlwaine selected the Clydesdales’ local tour stops.
