Tossers warm up at pits

Only two teams got three wins and no losses on a frigid Wednesday, January 21, morning. The better half of the Rhodes team, Debbie, and her partner, Al Norman, easily defeated John Johnson and Jim Roush, 21 to 14.

Saturday, Jan. 24, was warmer and four teams competed for the "Winged Wonder" trophy. In the first round, Gene Bobeldyk and Norm Good easily defeated Al Norman and Bob Mason, 21 to 8, and John Crawford and Jim Rush beat Debbie "Flop" Rhodes and Greg Fetterman by a score of 21 to 15. In the hard fought final, Bobledyk and Good tied at 18, but Good threw a six pack to defeat Crawford and Rush 24 to 18.

Play gets underway at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, come early to get some practice. All are welcome.
