The homes we live in reflect our lifestyle and personality,
or at least they should. No one knows this better than
Deborah and Matt Myers the husband wife team who own and
operate Bridge Street Interiors on Bridge Street in Bradenton
Beach. During the past four years, the Myers have built
an interior design business catering to their clients
tastes and way of life with an eye toward the tropical
design for which Florida is famous.
Matt and Deborah Myers moved their family, and ultimately
their extended family, to Florida in 2002. After Matt
Myers retired from the corporate world, he worked closely
with his wife in the interior design business she ran
out of a 110-year-old historic home on Indian Lake near
Columbus, Ohio. The decision to give up the beautiful
showroom and shop they owned was a hard one, but they
never looked back and have never regretted their decision.
Bringing over 25 years of experience with them to Florida,
the Myers opened Bridge Street Interiors four years ago
this month. On Saturday, Oct. 14, they will host a customer
appreciation and anniversary celebration with food and
drink at their shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everything
in the showroom will be 20 percent off for that day only.
Although the Myers shop and showroom have wonderful
unique and one of a kind pieces on display, such as the
huge palm leaf light fixture hanging on the wall, the
real service they offer is their experience in interior
design and decorating. They can work with you on redesigning
and decorating your getaway condo on the beach or your
4,000-square-foot permanent home, the more challenging
the better. Whether you are looking for window treatments,
wall coverings, furniture, accessories or a major remodeling,
the experience they have accrued over the years will assist
you in making good choices suitable to your needs and
budget.
The Myers also work with commercial clients including
restaurants and shortly will be decorating model homes
for builders. Most of their clients are local, however,
because of their large referral network they have been
recommended to customers in other parts of Florida, out
of state and as far away as Hawaii. In fact, on a recent
tip to Hawaii, they discovered a line of room and linen
fresheners in bottles, sprays and candles called Malie,
currently on display in their shop.
Deborah Myers said that their personalized interior design
service has turned clients into friends who keeping coming
back to Bridge Street Interiors for help and advice. When
you feel the need to redesign your space to reflect the
real you, the Myers will be there to help from start to
finish. You may start out as their client, but they will
make sure you end up as their friend.
