The award-winning Anna Maria Island Sun newspaper is published each Wednesday and is the leader in coverage of all aspects of Island life, including news, business, entertainment, real estate and sports. It has an average distribution of 16,000 copies every week and reaches more than 30,000 readers.
The Sun is the dream of Publisher Mike Field, an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years experience who launched the newspaper in September, 2000.
