The Holmes Beach Police Department is hosting a community night at City Field and everyone is invited.
This year’s National Night Out festivities include a bicycle rodeo, hot dogs fresh off the grill, carnival games and bounce houses. During the bicycle rodeo, 30 bicycles will be given away to local children, along with 50 bicycle helmets. Two bounce houses, a double slide and a rock climbing wall all will be available for lots of family fun. In addition to the carnival games, Holmes Beach Police Chief Bill Tokajer will be hanging out in the dunk tank just waiting to test the aim of attendees.
The event is free for everyone. Festivities are from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at City Field, 5801 Marina Drive in Holmes Beach.
